Lithuania, which currently holds the six-month EU Presidency, is to push forward negotiations on a raft of adjustments to the EU biocidal products Regulation (528/2012) that covers non-crop pesticides. The European Commission proposed numerous corrections and clarifications to the text in May to avoid "unforeseen" market barriers for some products and companies.
