NGOs call for help from Commission on landfill

The same organisations announced on 14 November that they wanted the European Commission to update Spain's situation regarding landfills. In January, the Commission told Spain that it had two months to deal with a reasoned opinion (second stage in the infringement procedure) on the issue if it wanted to avoid a trial.
