Council adopts conclusions on climate change

Meeting in Luxembourg last week, EU environment ministers endorsed in their conclusions the key elements of the European Commission's "EU strategy on adaptation to climate change." The strategy aims to enhance the member states' preparedness and capacity to respond to the impacts of climate change at local, regional, national and EU level, developing a coherent approach and improving co-ordination.
