EP Committee signs off EEA, ECHA and EFSA's 2012 accounts

The European Parliament's Budgetary Control Committee this week voted to sign off the 2012 accounts for some 30 EU decentralised agencies, only refusing to grant discharge to the Riga-based electronic communications regulatory body BEREC. The European Environment Agency (EEA), European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) all saw their executive directors granted discharge for the 2012 accounts in a 17 March vote. Discharge votes on the European Commission, Parliament and the Council were to follow as we were going to press on 18 March.
