Luxembourg: Valorlux launches environmentally friendly packaging competition

Luxembourg's green dot scheme Valorlux has launched "Tropheco 2014" - a competition to reward the most environmentally friendly packaging. The aim of Tropheco is to highlight, via a panel of experts, several types of household packaging and/or sales packaging put on the Luxembourg market that reduce the environmental footprint of the packaged product throughout its life cycle. The aim of this award is, on the one hand, to inspire and innovate all sectors using packaging, and, on the other, to highlight efforts made by industry and/or trade to the general public.
