EPA Will Survey Power Plant Operators On Air Toxics as Part of MACT Rulemaking

The Environmental Protection Agency will survey power plant operators about their emissions of air toxics as the agency begins work on regulations that would require the facilities to limit their emissions of pollutants such as mercury, according to a Nov. 10 Federal Register notice (74 Fed. Reg. 58,012). EPA has sent a new information collection request, which includes the survey, to the White House Office of Management and Budget for review and approval, according to the notice.
