Ted Kulongoski (D) July 14 signed a bill (S.B. 76b) that would cap at $180 million the cost to Oregon PacifiCorp ratepayers of removing four hydroelectric dams on the Klamath River.rnCurrently, the states of Oregon and California, PacifiCorp, and the Department of the Interior have reached a tentative agreement on the possible removal of four Klamath River dams that straddle the border of the two states (40 ER 1657, 7/10/09).
