摘要

Water infrastructure improvements, Great Lakes restoration, and other water-related programs account for nearly half of the Environmental Protection Agency's $10.5 billion proposed budget for 2010, released May 7.rnThe water funds-about $5.1 billion-would be used to provide "efficient water delivery and green infrastructure projects to further promote clean water," EPA said in releasing the budget proposal.rnOther major components of the 2010 spending plan include $1.7 billion for land restoration and preservation that would generate jobs, and $1.07 billion for clean air and global climate change programs, including research, according to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson.
