The White House Council on Environmental Quality Oct. 6 issued guidance for federal agencies and departments that have been directed by President Obama to begin reporting their annual greenhouse gas emissions.rnCEQ Chairman Nancy Sutley announced the release of the guidance, known as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, at the GreenGov Symposium, a three-day event held Oct. 5-7 to focus on improving federal agency sus-tainability efforts and environmental performance.
