State Department Issues Report on Efforts To Reduce U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions

The State Department April 8 released a draft of the U.S. Climate Action Report, a document detailing efforts the United States is making to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.rnThe document will be submitted to the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, as required by the convention. It is the fifth such U.S. report written under the UNFCCC. The most recent one was submitted in 2007.rnThe State Department will accept comments on the draft until noon May 6.
