EPA, GE Submit Reports to Review Panel On Progress of Hudson River PCB Cleanup

The Environmental Protection Agency and General Electric Co. March 8 submitted for peer review separate final reports assessing the first phase of a project to dredge sediment contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls from the Upper Hudson River.rnLike the draft reports released in January, the final EPA report and GE report identified a number of problems with the first phase, including the fact that contamination was greater than originally expected (41 ER 216, 1/29/10).
