State Legislature Approves Legislation To Curb Renewable Energy Tax Credits

The Oregon House Feb. 23 concurred with Senate amendments on a bill (H.B. 3680) that would reduce the state's renewable energy tax credit program, especially for large-scale wind projects.rnThere was little opposition to the bill in either chamber. The Senate passed the bill Feb. 22; the House passed the bill Feb. 10. Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski (D) is expected to sign the measure.
