Hastings Selected by Republican Conference To Chair House Natural Resources Committee

Rep. Doc Hastings (R-Wash.) was selected Nov. 28 by the Republic Conference to chair the House Natural Resources Committee, a committee aide told BNA. "I'm honored to have been selected by my Republican Colleagues to continue to serve as Chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee," Hastings said in a statement. "In this position, I'll continue to pursue an active, aggressive agenda focused on the common sense protection and responsible harnessing of our Nation's natural resources," he said.
