Gov. Brown Signs Bills to Encourage Clean Energy, Environmental Measures

Measures promoting development and use of renewable energy and alternative fuels, establishing a state policy declaring that humans have a right to clean water, and clarifying regulation of storage tanks were among the hundreds of bills signed into law recently by Gov. Jerry Brown (D). Environmental justice and public health advocates praised Brown for signing A.B. 685, the so-called "Human Right to Water" measure.
