摘要

Drinking water utility groups have expressed strong support for efforts to revise an Environmental Protection Agency water quality reporting rule to include electronic reporting, but how best to make such reports available remains in question. The Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA) told the agency that greater use of electronic delivery for so-called consumer confidence reports is essential, but the association maintained that EPA regulations should allow maximum flexibility in how utilities disseminate water quality information to customers.
