Businesses should address resiliency as part of their business plan now to prepare for climate change and extreme weather effects, a climate change research organization's scientist said. Businesses across all sectors-from transportation to agriculture-could be affected by increasing temperatures, rising sea levels, wildfires and other extreme weather events in the coming decades, Joe Casola, staff scientist and director for science and impacts at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), told businesses during a Sept. 25 webinar.
