EPA Agrees to Reconsider Technical Issues Related to Boiler, Incinerator Standards

The Environmental Protection Agency has agreed to reconsider several technical issues related to emissions standards for boilers and incinerators, according to letters the agency provided to BNA. EPA said it is granting reconsideration to give the public a chance to comment on certain provisions, including requirements for work practice standards that apply when equipment is starting up and shutting down and a requirement to use continuous parameter monitoring systems.
