The chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee has requested a National Academy of Sciences review of the FracFocus website to determine how well it serves the needs of federal and state regulators in overseeing the use of chemicals in hydraulic fracturing. Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) also asked that the review include recommendations from the academy for improvement of the website.
