California Trucking Group Asks Ninth Circuit To Review EPA Approval of State Standards

California heavy-duty truck owners have asked a federal appeals court to review the Environmental Protection Agency's approval of the state's tough emissions standards for in-use, heavy-duty diesel trucks and buses (California Construction Trucking Ass'n v. EPA, 9th Cir., No. 8513452, scheduling order 2/13/13). The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued an order Feb. 13 giving the California Construction Trucking Association until May 6 to file its opening brief. EPA has until June 3 to submit its response.
