Upton Threatens EPA Subpoena Over Power Plant Rule Documents on Decision Process

Fred Upton (R-Mich.), chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, is threatening to subpoena the Environmental Protection Agency after claiming the agency has failed to turn over requested documents related to its proposed carbon dioxide emissions rule for new power plants. "Should EPA fail to either produce the documents or provide a suitable log by July 23, 2014, this Committee will seek to compel their production," said the July 9 letter, which was also signed by Rep.
