Water Infrastructure Spending Measures Clear Senate Appropriations Subcommittee

Spending from the Inland Waterways Trust Fund would be allowed to reach the limit of its funding in fiscal year 2016 under a bill approved May 19 by the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development. The bill also would provide $1,254 billion in spending for the work of the Harbor Maintenance Trust Fund, in keeping with the maximum authorization by the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014 (Pub. L. 113-121).
