EPA Puts Tramp Behind the Wheel Of Update to Track Air Rules

Environmental advocates will press the incoming Trump administration to follow through on the first revisions in 16 years to the nitrogen oxides air standards for large trucks that the Environmental Protection Agency pledged Dec. 20 to undertake. The EPA aims to have the updated standards in place for model year 2024 trucks, it said in response to a petition from 20 state and local air pollution agencies in states including California, New York, Delaware and elsewhere seeking more stringent emissions limits.
