EPA Wants Landfill Methane Rule Scrapped While Biden Reviews

The Environmental Protection Agency wants federal appellate judges to scrap a Trump-era methane rule for landfills and toss it back to the agency for review.The EPA filed an unopposed motion to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit asking that judges vacate a 2019 rule that delayed implementation of 2016 limits to methane releases in landfills.
