The EPA at 50: It’s Time to Correct Inequities and Think Big

The EPA turned 50 on Dec. 2, and while much has been accomplished, it’s time forthe agency to take bolder action, especially to correct inequities that have left lowwealthcommunities, communities of color, and indigenous people exposed todisproportionate and unacceptable levels of pollution, says Michelle Roos, executivedirector of the bipartisan group Environmental Protection Network.
