A coalition of conservative-leaning states went to court Monday to defend the Trump administration’s waterjurisdiction rule.Georgia, West Virginia, and 21 other states moved to intervene in litigation in order to help defeat challenges to theNavigable Waters Protection Rule-a joint regulation from the Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps ofEngineers that narrows the types of wetlands and waterways subject to federal Clean Water Act restrictions.
