U.S. Navy Seeks Pre-Proposals on Effects of Sound on Marine Mammals and Marine Species Hearing Research

The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, through the Living Marine Resources (LMR) program, is soliciting pre-proposals for efforts related to any one of the two (2) need topics listed below. If invited, offerers will be asked to submit a full proposal. NEED TOPIC 1: BEHAVIORAL RESPONSE RESEARCH TO STUDY THE EFFECTS OF SOUND ON MARINE MAMMALS. (LMR N-0102-16). There are two high priority behavioral response research topics in the order of interest to the Living Marine Resources program: 1. Behavioral response research to improve our understanding of the potential effects from Navy training and testing activities.
