Greenhouse standards trio team up

In a move that will bolster confidence among companies seeking to manage their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, three organisations have said they will work together to promote their accounting and reporting standards. International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. In this, they have agreed to jointly promote the ISO 14064 standards and the WRI and WBCSD GHG Protocol standards.
