Industry and other stakeholders are ramping up their efforts to have the Obama administration adopt criteria for what science it will consider when EPA and other agencies make regulatory and other decisions, a move that proponents say is critical to enhance the reliability and credibility of the science underlying regulations.rnAmong the efforts is a recently launched stakeholder discussion sponsored by the American Chemistry Council (ACC), as well as identification of different approaches that proponents hope the administration will adopt in an upcoming policy intended to "restore scientific integrity."
