Biofuel groups are weighing a possible suit over EPA's vehicle greenhouse gas (GHG) rule for model years 2017-2025 as an option to address their concerns that the rule will undermine the agency's renewable fuel standard (RFS) creating a disincentive for biofuel use, an informed source says, after EPA rejected those fears in the rule. In addition to possible litigation, the coalition of biofuel and related groups is also discussing the potential for continuing to push their concerns with Congress and the Obama administration, according to the source.
