Environmentalists are expressing concern over EPA's decision to slip its schedule for finalizing revisions to its oil spill response regulations by nearly two years - to 2018 - after a long-time push by environmentalists to update the rule. EPA projects it will release the final rule revising its National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan's (NCP) Subpart J Product Schedule in August 2018, nearly two years behind its previous estimate of September 2016, according to the spring 2016 White House Office of Management & Budget's Regulatory Agenda.
