Assessing the elements of aircraft risk

The lead article discusses an element analysis program being used for aircraft turbine assesment. This feature also covers automotive and business enterprise software and the consolidation of a railways signalling project. The Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) has used the Abaqus finite element analysis (FEA) software to assess the risk of failure with aircraft turbine parts.
