Engineers Australia has criticised thernslow implementation of the National Framework for Energy Efficiency in arnsubmission to the federal government's forthcoming Energy White Paper.rn"There has been extraordinary prevarication on the decision to proceed with smart meters which can provide complementary support for energy efficiency measures. Engineers Australia accepts that good progress has been made in some areas, notably in respect of energy efficient building codes. But this progress has not occurred across the spectrum of energy efficiency opportunities," the submission said.
