City Square, an $800 million building by Brookfield Multiplex, will be one of the tallest buildings on the Perth skyline. With construction having begun last year, the building is expected to be complete in 2012. It will become the new Western Australian office for BHP Bil-liton. Aurecon (formerly Connell Wagner) is providing structural, mechanical, fire protection, facade and ecologically sustainable design engineering services to the project. The architect is Hassell + Fitzpatrick and Partners.
