Airport upgrade completed

The upgraded terminal at Gold Coast Airport was officially opened last month by the federal minister for infrastructure and transport, Anthony Albanese and Queensland deputy premier Paul Lucas.rnThe $100 million project involved doubling the size of the terminal to 30,000m2. Albanese said the new terminal, completed two months ahead of schedule, has been specifically designed for low-cost airlines.
