Flood-stricken highway on the road to recovery

Remediation works on the Cunningham's Gap highway are well underway in the Great Dividing Range outside of Brisbane. The highway, which was significantly damaged by over 2m of rainfall between last December and March, is undergoing slope remediation and emergency works. The works are being carried out as part of Operation Queenslander, which, according to the state government, is the largest reconstruction effort in Queensland's history.
