Dave Abbey -1950-2011

Every now and then you come across an engineers engineer. Dave Abbey was one of those people. Everybody who met him remembered him. Imposing in stature and with lots of dash, it soon became evident with clients and colleagues alike that here was an engineer to be listened to. Dave was one or tnose special people who combined an amazing intellect with a sound engineering understanding and outstanding commercial acumen. Besides these qualities, he was also a friend to many and a great bloke.
