Financing initiatives honoured in awards

Last month in sydney, industry group Infrastructure Partnerships Australia (IPA) recognised the country's best projects and financial advice at its National Infrastructure Awards. The refinancing of Sydney Desalination Plant was awarded the project of the year. The NSW government's privatisation of the desalination plant in Sydney was a transaction that freed up more than $2.3 billion to help fund a deeper, wider program of infrastructure investment around the state.
