Managing risk in challenging times

The Risk Engineering Society (RES) will be holding the RISK 2014 Conference in Brisbane on 28-30 May 2014. The conference will focus on how effective risk engineering and management can give guidance to organisations. The RES is a technical society of Engineers Australia, which provides national leadership while contributing to the effective management of risk in the workplace and community. This is achieved by collecting and disseminating information on all aspects of risk engineering, organising technical meetings and conferences, and liaising with interested organisations. The society places special focus on risk issues associated with construction, design, plant operation and management.
