In his second year at the helm, Douglas has presided over a financial consolidation of Coffey that saw the company sell off a number of non-core business over the past year and reduce debt. He is now refocusing the company on its core strengths of geosciences, project management and international development, with over 200 aid projects in over 80 developing countries. The organisation has been restructured around four key sectors; infrastructure, mining, oil & gas and property. The past year has been a challenge for Douglas' leadership, navigating the company through a cyclic downturn.
