Leighton's new HQ begins its ascent

Leighton Group's $413 million new global hub, a 30 storey commercial tower at 177 Pacific Highway that will change the skyline of North Sydney, has commenced construction. The building is being developed by Leighton Properties and built by Leighton Contractors. When completed it will have a total floor space of 39,164m~2. The building's environmentally sustainable features designed by Aecom include a high efficiency low temperature variable air volume system, high efficiency curtain wall facade system, energy efficient lighting and an integrated building management and control system. These will be used to target 5 Star Green Star - Office as Built V3 and Office Design V3 ratings, and a 5 Star NABERS energy rating.
