Twelve months ago, our CEO Stephen Durkin wrote an open letter to our 100,000 members entitled Our Voice, Our Future. In this letter Stephen outlined the changes taking place within Engineers Australia to ensure it is a world-class, contemporary professional body, providing a loud and influential voice on behalf of our profession. Our profession is facing great challenges as Australia repositions itself from a period in which our prosperity was driven by an insatiable demand for energy and minerals, to a world in which productivity and innovation are increasingly critical to Australia's economic and social wellbeing.
