摘要

Toronto program to deploy fuel-cell and hydrogen infra-structure projects over the next five years aims to create a dense geographic concentration of commercial projects. Together with programs in California and western Canada, it seeks to solve the so-called "chicken- and-egg" infrastructure puzzle. The "Hydrogen Village" partnership of 31 technology providers, engineers and end-users is responding to the Canadian government's $230-million pledge toward synergistic market-ready projects that link producers with users. "The intent is to deploy hydrogen and fuel cell technology, not just demonstrate it," says Terry Kimmel, project manager for Fuel Cells Canada, Vancouver, an industry association working to accelerate the commercialization of Canada's fuel cell and hydrogen technology.
