CMAA Member Ayers Confirmed as Architect of Capitol

Stephen Ayers, AIA, LEED AP, a member of CMAA since 2006, was confirmed by the Senate in May to serve as Architect of the Capitol. In February 2007, Ayers became acting Architect of the Capitol, leading successful initiatives to improve energy efficiency, implement sustainable design and make other significant improvements to the functioning of the Capitol complex.
