FLORIDA Rida Development Corp. is planning to build Central Station, a transit-oriented mixed-use project in downtown Orlando. Phase one of the project entails several midrise apartment buildings of seven to 10 stories, with ground-floor shops and restaurants. The 5.6-acre site is bounded by Orange Avenue, Amelia Street and Livingston Street, adjacent to the Lynx Central Station bus terminal. It will be directly connected with the main SunRail commuter train terminal when it is completed in 2014.
