ALABAMA 9/29 The University of Alabama is seeking bidders to build a state psychiatric hospital. The project entails building a three-story, 259,383-sq-ft, 268-bed hospital building on the grounds of the W.D. Partlow Developmental Center on University Boulevard East in Tusca-loosa. The university is serving as construction manager for the project on be-half of the government. The Alabama Dept. of Mental Health and Mental Retardation will own and operate the hospital.
