When a large emissions duct failed prematurely in a power plant in Central Florida, the unit had to be taken offline, sending planners and contractors scrambling for a remedy to repair the system and reduce downtime.After meeting with several contractors who each had a different approach to the problem, ALL Erection & Crane Rental was asked to work directly with plant management to find a solution. Using ALL's 3D Lift Plan simulation and planning software by Al A Software, the team input vital information from the jobsite to produce a list of cranes that could safely make the lift. From that list, a crane was located at one of ALL's nearby yards, reducing transportation costs.
