3/27 The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency is seeking bidders to carry out die Curtis Green Light Rail Center track replacement project. The Green Light Rail Center, located adjacent to the Balboa Park Station, serves as a cleaning, painting and repair shop and a light rail terminus for the J and K/T lines. The project entails replacing storage track, ladder track and turnouts; replacing the overhead contact system, including wires and insulation; upgrading the track switch control systems; and installing new pavement and an ADA-compliant platform.
