The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) is seeking design-build bidders for the South Bay Bus Maintenance Facility Expansion project. The project entails constructing a new high-bay maintenance building with an at-grade area of 40,000 sq ft and an additional mezzanine area of 9,000 sq ft. The maintenance building will contain 10 open service bays for 40-ft buses, five service bays for longer, articulated buses, vehicle lifts and process piping for the distribution of fluids to the service bays.
