The Case for Underground Power Lines

"Location, location, location" is the mantra that drives the real estate market. The corollary, as real estate owners on premium properties can tell you from their tax bills, is aesthetics do make a difference in the value. Recently, I participated in a highway improvement project to assess relocation of overhead to underground power transmission that traversed a scenic waterfront through a major eastern metropolitan area.
