When the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, authorized the construction of a new $5.3-million, 3-meter-wide pedestrian and cycling bridge, they were not fully aware of the big challenges that the small bridge would bring. The Ottawa Hunt Club Bridge crosses over the Airport Parkway and the pathway connection between the Hunt Club community to South Keys Transit Station on city-owned lands.
